Ace Remix Vol. 5

First post after number 1000 is another rarity in another style, in the mid-90s an australian DJ names Paul Goodyear started with James Frasier his own Remix-Service called "Ace-Remix" - after he worked for good known services like Hot Tracks, Discotech, Rhythm Stick & Ozmixx. The mid-90s where not only urban music for me, I had a Wednesday - Dance/Mainstream/House & such things - Gig for more than 2 years, that's why I'm into this services, too ! Hope some of you like this CD, 24 Issues where released until the service stopped in 1998... enjoy!

Metromix GT-10

This Remix-Service founded in St. Louis, Missouri at the late 80s and moved after a time to California. Greg Beasley was the founder of this service and all that goodies died in 1992 when the last Issue came out.

Prime Cuts Issue 1 Volume 11

The second rarity to the blogs' birthday is another Double-12-Inch, this time from the Prime Cuts Label that was grounded in 1986 by Mark Bailey, a DJ out of South Carolina. After a short time he left Prime Cuts and Howard Prince was the new leader of this service. In 1991 he changed the name from Prime Cuts to Disc Drive Records, but after only a few Disc Drive - Records the service stopped forever ... enjoy this one that came out in 1988 !!!
